Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kona is a 7 month old bi-color female and she is new to Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue. She was a part of a cruelty case and ended up in a rural shelter in Georgia before coming to Florida. She has only been with us for a few days but already showing a medium to high energy level and she loves playing with a ball.
Kona has a sweet and loving personality, she knows how to sit and shake and will be very easily trainable. She is in a foster home with multiple German Shepherds and gets along with them just fine. She has not been around cats to our knowledge. We are not sure if she is crate trained at this point but has been left outside of the crate at night.
If interested in Kona, please review our adoption requirements and the areas of FL that our rescue covers. Steps to adoption:
1. Visit www.dbgsdrescue.org and review adoption requirements
2. If you meet the requirements, please fill out an adoption application (make sure you include your home owners information)
3. Allow 2-4 weeks for a reference check
4. Schedule a home visit (all family members must be present)
5. Schedule a meet and greet with the dog of interest
Kona's adoption fee is $300. Please, keep in mind that we accept multiple application for a specific dog and we approve them based on the best match for the dog. Thank you.
