Sally's Story...

Sally is the lone female in the 'Nightmare Before Christmas' litter and she is to die for!!  Look at the belly! These four babies named Jack, Sally, Boogie and Oogie were rescued from a high kill shelter after being found without their mom.  Everyone was a little scared at first but are really coming around in their foster home and are having a blast! These babies are are healthy, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, treated for any parasites and our adoption fee includes their spaying/neutering. Our kittens must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another young cat or kitten. Come meet all at Petco @ Broadway & 92nd on Saturday 2-6 or at Adoptapalooza on Sunday, May 21 in Union Square from 12-5!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a New York Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
