Countess's Story...
Countess is a noble feline who is quiet and begins purring with head rubs. She is soft, sweet, graceful and beautiful with the unusual chocolate coat. Countess is calm and gets your attention with head bunts. She finds comfort in your arms as you hold her like a baby. Countess sits back and observes her surroundings, but you may find her tucked away in a quiet, hidden location when she becomes uncomfortable. She seeks out attention more than playtime with toys; therefore a mature household would be best. Countess will hiss at other pets, however, this should subside with time. She occasionally needs to be combed to keep her long hair from matting and to look her best as she holds her Countess title.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Countess, a Ocean Springs Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Ocean Springs, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Ocean Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocean Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocean Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocean Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
