Please note that since TAGS is a smaller volunteer program, we are limited to adoptions within the Durham Region area. We encourage those applicants who apply outside of the area to check your local shelters and rescue programs. We are always happy to refer you to a program in your area.
Adored and adoring, this best of two breeds’ beauty is all about loving. Comfy cozy Comet is the friendliest of canines, one who LOVES everyone, adults, children and strangers alike, and the company of other dogs and cats. He LOVES running free in his family’s fenced yard, going for brisk walks and on rides in the car. He will obligingly 'sit', 'stay', 'lie down', 'shake a paw', give a 'high ten', and eat on the 'okay' command. Fond of belly rubs and naps on his bed, all four paws in the air as he dreams, he’s also fully crate and housetrained, and free to roam when alone for brief periods of time. Due to his loving family’s move to a location that prohibits dogs, cherished Comet has been surrendered to us in the hopes that he won’t have to wait too long for another family to LOVE.
