Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There is nothing better that the simple enjoyment of life! Bring that joyfulness into your family!
Darting dangerously in and out of traffic in Kingwood, Penny was found by kind strangers that went out of their way to make her feel safe and find her family! Unfortunately, no one has come looking for her even though she seems like a dog that would certainly be missed!
Simple joy! Penny is very friendly and loves giving kisses! She relishes backyard playtime with her foster siblings but isn’t sure about how to handle cats and is very curious about them! Chewing on bones and playing with toys round out her joyfulness!
Anything for treats! Penny is highly motivated by treats and will do what it takes to earn them! Training hasn’t been too hard. She is crate-trained and hangs out there while home alone and at night. She is 95% housetrained and is working out the last couple of kinks! She’s an early riser so letting her out as soon as possible would make the percentage at 100!
Quirky tendencies. An open door seems to invite her to try a new adventure and chase down all the squirrels! So keep a close eye on that door so you won’t end up chasing her down the street! Penny is working on her leash manners but getting good grades!
Penny is a sweet, loving girl that just needs a forever home! Unconditional love, patience, kindness, and never giving up on her will only fester the same in return! She is still young and needs a family to grow with. Let’s put her in your family photo!
