Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Meet Blake! Some of you may remember him as a 38 lb stray, starving and needing medical attention. He was saved just 30 minutes before he was scheduled to be euthanized. By the time he was brought to the vet, he was so weak he could not stand. His vet said he would have been dead from starvation in a few hours, Blake was so hungry while out on the streets, he resorted to eating trash in a desperate attempt to find food. Blake had to have plastic trash surgically removed from his stomach. He has now completely healed and is looking for his furever family!
Blake is an approximately 2 year old male Pitbul/American Bulldog mix, weighing 63 lbs. He is extremely loving and playful. Blake would love a home with adults and older children. He is okay with younger children, but doesn’t know his own strength when he plays and runs around. Blake loves to play with anything and everything, especially when his humans play with him! He is extremely smart and has learned a lot in his first few months of living in a home! He knows “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “come”, “no”, “outside”, “crate”, “bone”, “treat”, and “go”. Blake is crate trained, housetrained, and walks well on a front harness. He loves to run around the yard. He also loves to go for walks and sits very pretty (and wiggly) when you put his leash on. Blake would do well in a home with or without a fence. He loves car rides and LOVES to snuggle his humans.
Blake loves his foster parents very much and he loves to play with his dog brother. He is very friendly with people and other dogs in the community, especially at the dog park. He is more choosy when he’s at home. Blake doesn’t like to be in crowds or forced situations. These situations make him nervous. He requires a little more personal space than some of his other dog friends. A calmer home with a family that doesn’t entertain all of the time would be perfect for Blake.
Adoption fee $375 and includes health exam, deworming, up to date vaccines, microchip, neuter, and 30 days of free pet health insurance.
