Meet handsome Huckleberry Pie! Playful, friendly, cuddly...everything you want in a kitten, waiting for you! We recommend adopting 2 kittens, especially if you don't have a playmate at home already. He has a sister, Apple Dumplin', who would be happy to go home with him! Huck is waiting to see you at our Timonium Petco adoption center!

All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.

We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huckleberry Pie, a Nottingham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nottingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nottingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nottingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nottingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nottingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
