MEET ADORABLE NOKIE! Nokie is a very sweet 3 year old Chihuahua mix who is unable to walk due to spinal cord damage. He weighs approximately 5 lbs. He is a very sweet and loving dog. His foster Mom says he is a little cuddle buddy and loves to be covered up in a blanket with her pet Chihuahua. Nokie has no bladder or bowel control so he wears diapers. Nokie recently underwent surgery for a ruptured bladder and ureter--he is doing great! The vet specialists are currently figuring out the next step for Nokie--a permanent tube or catheter or expressing bladder by using hand. We are looking for an owner that would be comfortable with Nokie's condition. He is extremely friendly and despite his condition is very active and moves about faster than you would expect. Nokie is a little intimidated by large dogs. He has the cutest, softest bark. You can't help but to fall in love with this sweet little Angel!
