âWe are nuts about our girl Nutmeg! She's a naturally beautiful bombshell whose terrific tricolor coat adds ton of character to her already sassy self. Nutmeg is 14.4 pound, 12 week old Catahoula/Australian Shepherd mix girl who who has been asking us when her forever family will be coming to get her. We told her just as soon as we found someone who was just as nuts over her as we are! This pretty little spice will be a super smart dog who we think will excel with her crate, house and leash training. She is very active and needs a family who can keep her stimulated and interacted with on a daily basis. Nutmeg's current favorites are to chase the tennis ball all over the yard and play tag with her litter mates. She is being very patient in waiting for her new home, so she wanted us to tell you she's still a puppy and may need some too. If you're looking for a puppy who can bring flavor to your family, apply to adopt Nutmeg today!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
