My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remi is a recent owner surrender and unfortunately has had many homes in the past due to unforeseen circumstances. As any new dog coming into the shelter Remi was nervous and scared but after a few days of quiet-time to de-stress he has perked up and showing his true happy colors. His owners stated he may have some food guarding issues which we are still working to evaluate, but overall he does appear to be friendly with other dogs. Remi's ideal home would consist of a family who is willing to take him to obedience school as he does pull on a leash. Anyone wishing to meet Remi that has other dogs in the home are required to have a meet and greet with Remi before an adoption can be completed. Remi is an estimated to be around a year old, weighs around 68 pounds and is a Lab. He is up to date on vaccines but is pending his neuter and heartworm test April 25th.
