Freda's Story...
"Hello, my name is Freda. I am a loving, friendly puppy born on January 5, 2017. My mother is a Chihuahua, and my father was a traveling salesman," probably a hound. I weigh 16 pounds at 20 weeks old.
I was rescued from a breeding house where I eceived no care. Now I am healthy and happy! I am spayed, current on all vaccinations, de-wormed, and have been started on monthly heartworm prevention medication.
I am learning to walk on a leash and am doing well with that. I am also learning to be housebroken. I am also crate trained. I am a house dog with access to safe, secure fenced back yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freda, a Memphis Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
