Lucky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lucky's Story...
I LOVE: being spoiled, playing with plushy toys and my BFF Cream Soda, gentle affection and massages, running the zoomies on my short little legs and treats!

I HAVE: a sparkling personality, a need to connect with my care givers, a playful style with other dogs and a desire to learn what you want me to do. I also have some scars from something that happened to me before I was rescued. Please don’t worry though, I am healing well and have put that experience behind me. Just love me and I will show you how resilient I am.

I GET ALONG WITH: all dogs and people…including kids! Chickens and cats are a little interesting to me but I am puppy and correct very well. I could live with a kitty if my person taught me to accept feline friends.

I’D RATHER NOT: ever be on my own again…I need to be loved completely and protected forever more.

I NEED: a home that will look past my scars and see the love inside of me. I am a GREAT dog and I am strong. Come meet me and I’ll show you exactly what I mean <3 <3 <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Austin Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dachshund/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
