OSO (R)'s Story...
Oso is a beautiful boy. He's sweet but a little shy. Maybe he'll warm up after some time at the shelter. He'll for sure warm up when he's in a loving home! Oso sits when told and takes treats very gently. He's estimated to be 3 years old and weighs only 41 pounds. He was found out running on his own on May 17th. When his owner was contacted the shelter was told to keep Oso. His owner didn't share any info on himl like if he's house trained or good with kids or other animals. Oso is up to date with shots and will be neutered, heartworm tested, and micro-chipped upon adoption. Oso is in Run 22 and his ID is 596086.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OSO (R), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
