Hoss's Story...
My name is Hoss, my 5 siblings and I are looking for our forever home now that we are old enough to move out of our current foster home. There were two wonderful family that bottle fed each of us when we were thrown out as trash when we were just 2 days old. A good Samaritan found all of us and took us to the shelter. The volunteers immediately started looking for bottle feeders and that is how we started our lives. We are ready to meet you and show you how much we love life.

They were 8 weeks old on 5/12/17 and are doing well! If you are interested in meeting any of them, please email us at tailsfromtheheart@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoss, a Plano American Bulldog/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Basset Hound for sale in Plano, or seeking a American Bulldog/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Basset Hound breeders who help with American Bulldog/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
