Thinking about bringing Bobby or another wonderful Senior Springer into your family? Read why rescuing Senior Springers is a top priority for ESRA.
Bobby loves to give kisses, and he longs for a Forever Family who will shower him with tender loving care. He may be ten, but he's in great health and acts much younger than his age!

He loves to run, but he will settle down on a couch. Bobby has the softest fur you can imagine, and he loves to have you stroke it while he sits next to you.

Bobby is treat motivated and submissive, except when it comes to cats. He does well with other dogs and doesn't mind being lower in the pack. But when a cat appears, Bobby's attitude changes and the chasing and barking begin.

His submissive nature means that Bobby would be best in a home where voices aren't raised. He does well when he is left home with free run of house. He also does fine in a crate, although doesn't need one. Bobby loves to carry soft toys or shoes in his mouth. He won't chew a shoe but will rather hide it and then watch you look for the "other" shoe!

In Bobby's last home, his owner was ill, and it was a very hard goodbye for both Bobby and his person. All this handsome boy really wants is a family to provide him with the love, attention, and nurturing he needs and deserves.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Bobby.
