My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CLEMENTINE is a Beagle/Heeler mix found abandoned in a rural area. She was pregnant and begging for food at a convenience store on the highway. She birthed 8 beautiful puppies and is ready to begin her new life. We estimate Clementine's date of birth to be March 2016. She weighs about 38 lb., is spayed, fully-vaccinated, dewormed and heartworm negative. She is well house-trained and leash-trained, obedient and well-mannered. She is a good guard dog without being overly barky. She knows how to use a doggie door. She sits for a treat, for her meals, and for leashing up. Clem is highly intelligent, affectionate and eager-to-please. She likes all people and loves to hug, nuzzle and cuddle. She can handle being with other non-aggressive dogs but doesn't really need them, as they are competition for the attentions of her much-prized human. She's good with cats too and has had a rollicking good time with the 6-month-old cat at her foster home. Clementine needs a home where she will be allowed to sit on the sofa next to her human, and if possible, sleep in the big bed with her special person. You will not find a more devoted companion dog.
