My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CASEY is a precious Cocker/Cavalier mix, who was surrendered by his senior owner who was unable to care properly for him. His date of birth is 8/10/15. He is neutered, fully-vaccinated, dewormed, and has been treated for heartworms, so he's now ready to start his new life. Casey is a bright, energetic youngster with the perky personality and cute impish face of a King Charles Cavalier. He's high-energy and busy and still has some naughty puppy ways. He loves all people but may be a bit too intense for small children. Older kids would be fine. Casey does okay with other non-aggressive dogs but would probably be best as an only dog, mainly because he considers all toys to be HIS. He does not share well. He's not good with cats. Casey is house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained. He knows how to use a doggie door, will sit on command and knows back/stay (although he's not 100% compliant). He is affectionate without being needy and quite playful. He has to have a lot of toys and loves beef marrow bones. He proudly prances around with his toys or a bone in his mouth and wants to show you what he has, like a kid saying "Look, Mommy!" As with any bright child, he needs love and attention and someone to delight in him. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You!
