If you are longing for an easy going, fun loving, four-legged friend that loves to go for walks and explore his surroundings as well as hang out at home and settle in when you are ready to, Butch is the one for you!! Not only is he a handsome boy, he is gentle, attentive, silly and compassionate to all that are around him. Butch is currently in a foster home enjoying the comforts of his foster mom and her two sons, cats and a bunny. He takes it all in stride and shows great respect toward all. Along with Butch will come his toy shark that he has befriended, often carrying it around wherever he goes. Butch walks well on a leash, and even though he may be in his senior years, he moves with great ease like a 5 year old dog. He is house trained and up to date on all vaccinations, micro-chipped and in good health. His estimated year of birth is 2008-2009 and he weighs about 50lbs. To learn more about Butch from us and his foster home, or to set up a time to meet him, please email RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

About Smiling Dog Farms - MA Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our sanctuary dogs that have been deemed “unadoptable” because they have bitten someone, or have other behavioral challenges, have a safe home with us for their lifetime and are also up to date on shots, sterilized and on heartworm prevention.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
