Fergie's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Fergie.

Fergie is an absolute doll! She adores people and prefers to spend her day being amoungst humans and playing with other dogs.

She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Fergie enjoys long walks, belly scratches, and a good chew toy. She is pretty cat-curious but still remains cat-friendly. She is a fabulous dog who just needs a loving and patient forever family who is willing and able to help boost her confidence and reassure her that she's safe and loved!

Fergie is about 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and house broken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fergie, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
