My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Izzy.  Izzy is a 2-3 year old female black and white semi rough coated Border Collie.
 
Upon first meeting Izzy, she had very warm and inviting eyes and was instantly trying to make a connection.  She also could not stop wagging her tail.  After getting down on the ground to her level, she immediately came right up and nuzzled right into our volunteer’s lap.  It’s hard to believe that this sweet-natured dog was picked up as a stray and her people did not come looking for her at the shelter.  It is evident that Izzy was once a loved and well cared for dog.
 
She has beautiful manners and appears to know her basic obedience.  She is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides very well in a car. She is also well socialized with other dogs.  She is very affectionate and enjoys being around people.  Izzy loves to play fetch, and will bring the ball right back to you and drop it in front of you.
 
Izzy has an off button and will settle down right next to you.  She is quite the love bug and craves  human interaction.  She would like nothing more than to be your new K9 BFF.
