Franky's Story...
Meet Franky! He is about 1 year old and is a Miniature Pinscher mix. Franky came to us as a stray in mid-May. He is a shy and timid boy but is starting to show little glimpses of his adorable personality. Franky has done okay around other dogs that are too overbearing but like to play. He could probably use a little bit more confidence and another resident dog in his future forever home may help with that! He has zero interest in cats and has just ignored them. Franky would most likely do best with older children and a quiet home. Franky seems to enjoy being held. We are continuing to learn about him daily. When we have more updates we will let you know! Otherwise, please feel free to stop on by for a visit! It does take Franky a little bit to acclimate to new people, but he is worth it! He's such a doll!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franky, a Michigan City Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
