Gidget's Story...
My name's Gidget! I'm a 6 month old pit bull mix puppy. I'll probably be about 50 pounds when I'm all done growing. As you'd expect I'm happy go lucky and have lots of silly energy. There's not much about life that I don't love, but my favorite things include walks, being outside, playing with toys, playing fetch, and playing with other dogs. I'm super smart and I'm almost completely house trained, a rock star in my crate, and picking up commands like crazy. I bet I'd be a star in an obedience training class. I'm great with other dogs and cats, and I like kids, but if there are kids in my home they need to be older since I sometimes forget not to jump. I'd be sad if I knocked a little one over! I'm spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. My adoption fee is $250. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope. com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget, a Grand Rapids American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
