My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tony is a VERY shy guy, almost afraid of any human he comes in contact with and will run to a place he feels secure. We have tried to love him and show him trust but he hasn't been receptive to it yet.

Tony is very handsome and has one blue eye. He mostly keeps to himself but has no problems with any other dogs. He likes other dogs and will even cuddle with them. Not so much with humans as we said above, so he needs to have a home that understands this and is willing to give him patience and space to learn to truly be a dog.  He is currently on 1mg of Xanax twice per day to help him relax. He is not aggressive or mean, just afraid.

He will go outside but will quickly run past you holding the door open for him.  He does have accidents in the house but is getting better about going out with the rest of his friends.  Once he is outside, he likes to explore the yard.

Tony needs a home that will work with him and teach him that not all humans are bad.   He absolutely needs a fenced yard, and a home where someone will not accidentally leave a gate open where he could escape, so he may not be ideal for a home with kids who may forget once.
