My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable 10 year old Jack Russell is just dying to snuggle his way into your heart. Bebop is one of the cutest and calmest Jack Russell’s we’ve met! He is happy to just go on a walk or snuggle up in your lap--he just wants your affection! Bebop was recently returned to us after living in a home for 8 years because he started urinating in the house. It turned out he had bladder stones, which we have since removed. He is also in need of a dental, but we were unable to do that in the same procedure because he was under for too long. Other than needing the dental, he seems to be in pretty great health for a boy of his age! While in our care, Bebop seems to have loved every person he’s met, however, his previous owners did report he barked a lot at strangers and once bit someone in their pants (it is unknown when this occurred). Bebop is avoidant around other dogs and sometimes “charges” them. We find this to be typical Jack Russell behavior and expect he’d settle down once getting used to living with other dogs. This sweet, loving boy really wants to get out of the shelter. Bebop is at the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia, PA. If you are interested in providing him a forever home, please contact Gianna Davila at gdavila@pspca.org.
