heart worm positive

Well hello there, fine people of the rescue community! Yes, that includes you, because you wouldn't be reading this if you didn't want to rescue a handsome fella like me! I mean, come on, have you ever seen a Boxer as good looking as I am? I think not. Let me tug at your heartstrings: I spent my entire life until now locked up in the pen. Okay, not "the" pen, because I didn't do anything wrong, but a pen. Outside. Yes, I enjoyed the company of my cellmate, I mean, my Lab dog friend, but I longed for connection and interaction with a human. I don't even need lots of humans.......just one or two will do. Any size; I love them all. Little ones, big ones, skinny ones, fluffy ones. The only time I saw my humans was when they came out to feed or water me. I would get so excited and wiggle my Boxer tail and body in that way we do, but it was of no use. I was ignored. I spent many nights out there, listening to the crickets, to the rain, to the sounds of life. Sometimes I would hear a dog bark, and I could tell they were barking from INSIDE A HOUSE. INSIDE??? Can you imagine? Guess what? I can now, because I get to stay inside at my foster home, and I know whoever my forever humans turn out to be, they would never, ever make me stay outside in a pen again. Because I'm worth more than that. And I will show you through my love. So please, take me home now and let me into your heart.......it will be the most pawsome thing you've ever done. Thanks for reading.
