Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey was found wondering the streets aimlessly. When I tried to catch him, he was very scared and aggressive because it turns out he is blind. After a bit of attention and love, Petey warmed up to me. I took him to Auburn Animal Hospital with Dr. D and she performed a wellness exam. Turns out Petey is very healthy and there is no idea why he is blind. His eye blood vessels seem normal. I have reached out to a few Special Need Dog rescues and so far I can't find one that has room for him, but, I did find one that is willing to guide me to helping Petey. They are called Synergy Rescue. They informed me that Petey may have SARDS Disease and to take him to an eye specialist, they referred me to one and I plan to take Petey. What Petey Needs Now: He needs a halo to help him find his way around the house. He is very scared and walks in circles to help him find his way He needs vaccinations He needs to get fixed He needs special diapers because he can't see where he is at to pee, he just goes where he needs too. He needs to see a specialist He needs a special needs rescue or A furever home, one that is willing to handle the needs of a blind small dog.
