ABOUT:
You are going to have a hard time finding a dog more loving and affectionate than Coco Puff, she is the ultimate companion dog. She is her foster mom’s shadow. She loves to snuggle on the couch, especially while resting her head on her foster mom somewhere. Although Coco doesn’t live with children in her foster home we think she would be an excellent choice for a family with kids. She is very sweet and gentle and has no resource guarding. She loves to be touched and hugged so we think kids would be right up her alley. She is a low energy level and does not need a lot of exercise to be happy. Coco lives in an apartment without a yard so they go on three walks a day and that is plenty for Coco. She usually relieves herself very quickly on their walk before bed because she knows it’s bedtime and she gets to snuggle with her foster mom in bed as soon as they get home!! They usually go to the park on the weekends and Coco will get a little more playful and excited on those trips. Coco has a high prey drive so no cats or small dogs for this lady. Coco wouldn’t mind sharing her home with a nice, easy going male. Coco walks very well on leash but can get excited when she sees other dogs. Her foster mom has no problem redirecting her so they can continue their walk. Coco was briefly fostered in the suburbs and we think she is slightly more comfortable in an urban environment. Coco gets to sleep in bed with her foster mom at night, but she is crated during the work day. She goes right when her foster mom tells her to “go to bed.” She also knows Sit, Come, and Stay. She also always sits before going outside or receiving her meals. Coco’s foster mom could not say enough great things about her. She said Coco is a delight, and is so easy to love! Her foster mom also used the following words to describe her: Sweet, Loving, Gentle, Easy Going, Affectionate.
