My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hello! My name's FREDDIE, and you won't be able to contain a smile when you spend some time with me in the play yard. Everyone here at the shelter says I'm a downright adorable goofball. I'm a two-year-old Doberman, so you can bet that I'm fun and playful. You should see how joyful I am when I play fetch with stuffed animals. I'll sit on command, then I'll bring back the toy and drop it for you. I'm such a good boy! I'm kid-friendly and dog-friendly, though I'd do best with other dogs who are larger, like me. I'll need daily exercise and a fenced yard, along with a comfy bed in the house so I can be with my person or family. I'm a dog that will need human interaction, not one who should be relegated to the back yard. I've already been house trained. I have natural watch dog instincts, so I may bark at people I don't know when I'm in my kennel. Please don't be deterred. I'd love to meet you! Please ask the staff if you and I can get to know each other out in the nice play yard that they have here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. You'll be able to see just how affectionate and comical I am when I'm out of my kennel. I hope to see you soon! Love, Freddie"
