Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Range!
He was found as a stray on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Skinny, infested with ticks and very dehydrated. After no owners came forward we suspect he was dumped :( We believe he is about 5-6 years old. Whatever happened is in the past and he is ready for a new beginning and furever :) Range is currently in boarding. He does great with all humans but is strong & excitable so we suggest Adult only home or a home with no young kids (14 +). He loves to attack... with kisses LOL and I believe if he could live life as a lap dog he would :)
We also don't believe he was an inside dog before but he's doing great as we teach him inside doggie manners :) He currently has a doggie door & does just fine being left out to go in/out for short periods of time.
Range is now crate trained. He didn't like it at first but now he's perfect :) He is fine left out though as well as he is nondestructive & housetrained!
Range would benefit from walks at least 3-4 times a week. He loves to play but can be a couch potato most of the time! He is great with most other dogs. Range lives with cats now but his foster parents are very diligent about controlling his interactions with them. I would suggest a kitty free home to be safe. He's just a little too curious for comfort!
If you are looking for a loyal furever family member this is your boy! His adoption fee is $50. This covers his neuter, vaccines and microchip. We did bloodwork on him and had him tested for tick fever, heartworm & anaplasma- all negative. He also had a recent dental cleaning completed. Let us know if interested!!
