Many shelters in South Carolina do not have the resources or space to adopt out the large number of animals they receive. We rescue animals at risk of being put to sleep due to these issues. All animals rescued live in foster homes. Foster families socialize and care for the needs of the animals before they are adopted out. We fundraise to provide for the many medical needs most of these animals have.
Come Meet Our Pets...
After completing an application, potential adopters can set up a time to meet the animal(s) of interest. We also have meet and greet events at pet supply stores in the Summerville and Mount Pleasant areas. Check our website (sinbadsadierescue.org) and facebook page for locations, dates and times.
Our Adoption Process...
An adoption application, home visit, trial period and contract are required for dogs. A trial period is not required for cats. Adoption fee is $150 for adult dogs, $200- 300 for puppies, and $80 for cats. Senior dogs 8+ have a $100 adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before adoption.
