Shark's Story...
My name is Shark. I am currently staying in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, WI.

My brother and I wondered up to someone's weekend end home. We were fed and cleaned up and we were taken to a vet. I am ready to find my family now. I like to play with toys, fetch things and hang around with my people. I loved to hang around with my finder . He was really nice to me. I am learning basic commands and to walk on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shark, a Fort Atkinson Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
