My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a 5 year old spayed female yellow lab who weighs 74 pounds. She must go to a home with another dog.

Molly #2 is a beautiful and soulful yellow girl that is waiting for her perfect family to show her the love and attention she deserves. Molly was used on a breeding farm but is now on the hunt for better days. She will need some patience and love as she adjusts to the new phase of her life. She is great with other dogs. She is good with cats. She is said to have been good around kids but no ages were given, so she is approved for kids 10 and up.

Molly will do best with a family who is not gone for a long work day. She loves everyone, especially her people. She can be left alone for 3-4 hours and she will take a nap. She loves to run around the yard, and will love to have a playful canine in her new family. She cannot be crated as she will try to chew her way out, and she doesn't need to be. She likes to be part of the action and participate in family daily activities. She is great with the dogs, the cat, and the kid in the home. She's hesitant meeting men and will need time warming up to them. She has mastered snuggling on the couch, and her future family should be okay with this. She goes for walks on leash and is very good.

UPDATE: Molly continues to be charming. She definitely loves her people. She will thrive in a family where she won't be left alone for long periods of time. Up to 4-5 hours in one day. She cannot be crated. She likes to hang out with the other dogs on the couch or a dog bed so if future applicants don't allow dogs on couches and beds, she would not be the right fit. Molly is the perfect combination of spurts of energy and couch potato. She is a strong chewer and loves antlers, nylabones, and frozen marrow bones. She also loves to destuff soft toys and is the happiest girl when she can do that. When she's outside, she loves to explore and run around and around.

Molly went for a longer hike by the river trail. She walks great on the leash. I'm pretty sure it's the first time she's seen a river. She was fine with two cyclists who went by. She also did great meeting people at the ice cream store and absolutely enjoyed her treat. This girl is beautiful inside and out. She is oh, so gentle. Don't miss out on this gentle beauty.

Molly is having a great time in her foster home but is still looking for a permanent home. She is excellent with the resident cat and even licks her head on her way out to the yard. She gets along well with all the dogs she has met. She stays alone during the day for a couple of hours and is very happy when her humans come home. Her favorite thing is to destuff toys. She does that on a daily basis. It's very cute. She also enjoys chewing on nylabones, antlers, and frozen marrow bones. Molly is low key but also likes to run around the yard and would love a playful friend. She is shy when meeting new people but comes around if given the time. This girl is a gem.
