My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woody is a 1 year old neutered male yellow lab who weighs 41 pounds.

Woody is a young yellow pocket lab who was left to fend for himself. He’s super friendly and wiggles all over with happiness when he meets people. He has lived with other dogs and cats in his foster home and got along well with everyone. He was found as a stray but he's such a happy, wiggly, young fellow. No kid history so he is approved for kids 10 and up.

From foster: Woody has been adjusting quite well. He wants to play with our other dog but Spencer is 12 and not up for play time. Woody has a lot of energy and so far he seems to understand "sit". He likes playing with tennis balls and chewing on Nylabones. He loves being able to run like crazy in our fenced yard. He goes to the door when he needs to go outside. He is really a well-adjusted dog considering how long he was in the shelter.

Poor Woody developed a severe case of non-contagious Demodex mange while he was living in the rough, but his treatment has been successful and he’s already showing signs of recovery.
