Giselle's Story...
M17-062 – Giselle
Well, it was a darn cold winter! I thought I’d freeze to death! Ended up having my babies outside. Someone took them in, but wasn’t crazy about me. A gentle neighbor cared for me, kept me alive and hoping for better days. She made me comfortable but couldn’t keep me. Finally, she connected with Magicats, and here I am, newly healthy and ready for a new life. I didn’t get an official name until the Magicat ladies named me Giselle. It suits me. I’m about 18 months old, cured of mastitis and some other infections – spayed, and done with all the pre-adoption medical work by their cooperating vets. Did you know they give love, pets and kissies along with food and meds. They helped me remember I’m truly black and beautiful! I just know my new life will be wonderful! I’m ready for a loving INSIDE ONLY home. I’m healthy, current on my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. I’d love a quiet home with nice people, maybe a cat tree by the window, and my own special someone. If you have pets or small kids, please introduce them carefully! Meet me at PetSmart and we’ll talk!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Giselle, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
