Rosie's Info...

Rosie's Story...
She was a drop off at SCCAC. The vet guesstimates her age around 8 years old. She had to have all her teeth pulled but 2 and still likes to chew on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She sometimes has problems navigating the stairs and may need an occasional boost. Her demeanor is very gentle and affectionate and likes to be where people are. She doesn't like a crate but is fine with being quarantined with a baby gate in the laundry room when I leave the house. She uses pee pads when I'm away from the home and goes potty every time I take her outside. She's only had 2 accidents the first two days I had her and one when she was on steroids. She sleeps at the foot of my bed every night and stays in the same position all night. She's also a really good traveler in the car

Rosie is current on vaccines, spay/neutered and heartworm tested. Adoption fee for Rosie is $250. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please fill out an adoption application .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Hazel Park Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Hazel Park, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Hazel Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazel Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazel Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazel Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
