St Helens (Adoption Pending)'s Story...
St. Helens is a beautiful female calico kitten who was born around 4/12/17 and was rescued with her mom and siblings from a high kill shelter. She and her litter mates (Mauna Kea, Fuji, Denali, Kilimanjaro, and Everest) are still too young to leave mom (Mimarin) but adoption applications are now being accepted.

Please note that St. Helens mom is FIV +. St. Helens will be FELV/FIV tested when she is a little older.

To learn more about FIV + cats, please go to:
http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm

St. Helens adoption fee is $75 which includes deworming, FELV/FIV test, core vaccinations, rabies, spay, and microchip). Adopt a pair of kitties for $125!

WE DO NOT ALLOW OUR CATS OR KITTENS TO BE LET OUTDOORS OR DECLAWED!!!! Declawing is an owner convenience and serves no benefit to the cat. If you adopt a kitten/kitten and we find out it has been declawed, not only will you lose your spay/neuter refund, but we have the right to reclaim the cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

St Helens (Adoption Pending), a Crown Point Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Crown Point, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Crown Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crown Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crown Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crown Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
