My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dana is a 3 year-old Pomeranian mix, weighing 8 pounds. She was rescued from a small apartment complex and stayed in the cage for 2 months because Dana was too scared and trembling whenever volunteers tried to take her out of the cage and take her to walk. Dana wouldn’t stand up on 4 legs so no potential adaptors paid attention to her.

And then, Dana was diagnosed with heartworm. Since she was in Stage 3, the shelter put her in the euthanasia list. Hence we decided to rescue her and found a foster mom for Dana. It has been two months since Dana has stayed with her foster mom, successfully treating heartworm. Dana is also taking medication for high blood pressure in the lung; and scheduled to go through a comprehensive examination again next week to see if she is all treated. Dana is friendly and mild-mannered and has an endearing quiet personality.
