Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This young man is a bundle of puppy energy. He was gifted to his former elderly owners as a puppy, but they realized as he grew older that they were not able to give him the exercise he needs due to their own physical limitations so they surrendered him to rescue. Axel loves to be with other dogs, as well as people and is good with children. He plays fetch and would make a great running or hiking companion. Axel is curious about everything and very willing to please. His prior owners recommend he has a home without cats.

Axel goes to work daily with his foster dad and is a welcome addition to the office. Axel’s house manners are excellent. He uses a dog door and knows his basic commands. He rides well in the car and sleeps quietly in his crate at night (although his preferred location would be in bed with his foster parents.) Axel has a very soft mouth and accepts his treats gently. Axel is a happy welcome camper at Camp Bow Wow in Livermore.

The adoption fee is $250. All Lucky Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, treated to make sure they are flea free, are current on their vaccines, and dewormed prior to adoption.
