Wombat's Story...
***Please email upaadoption@gmail.com for more information on Wombat!

Meet Wombat!
This darling 4 month old girl appears to be a shepherd mix of some sort who was found wandering the streets when our trainer spotted her and coaxed her over. Since then she has blossomed into a more confident little monkey who is just so sweet.

Wombat is a very sweet and people oriented young pup. As with every pup, she is seeing and experiencing many novel things. We have no idea what her experiences were prior to being picked up, but she likely had some scary times, so we are making sure to pair all her new experiences with happy chatter and fabulous food so that she forms positive associations with them.

She is a friendly and balanced puppy, with good inter-dog skills. She is connected and attentive and is learning very quickly. She is very playful and loves to chase after toys, carry them around and play tug. She has a lovely temperament from what we have seen so far.

Wombat is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and a wellness exam.

Due to the expensive nature of animal rescue work, out nonprofit has an adoption fee. In addition we ask all potential applicants to fill out an application and chat with an adoption coordinator prior to a adoption.

Please email us for a link to the application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wombat, a San Francisco Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
