My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angelica who was born around March 31, 2017 and will make a fabulous companion to a family. She will be ready for her new family on May 26th when she is 8 weeks, and we are accepting adoption applications for her now. She stunning and so beautiful with her lush thick coat. She is very friendly, super playful, social and affectionate. Anyone who meets her will surely fall in love. Eliza and Angelica are being fostered together in a South Aurora, Illinois home, which is where you would go to meet this beauty! She arrived to us from a very over crowded shelter in Harlan Co., KY. She would do well in a home with other cats, and/or a cat friendly dog with proper introductions.

To meet this sweet girl, an approved adoption application needs to be submitted and approved. You can find find the adoption application by going to our website at angelsonwheels.org, and clicking on the applications tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application needs to be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet with this adorable kitten. If you see this this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us asking about availability. We update regularly

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The adoption fee of $200.00 includes:
Spaying/Neutering when old enough, paid for by us, and you will receive a coupon.
Microchip,
Up-to-date on routine vaccination for FVRCP
Regular deworming while in our care
Received Ponazuril
Tested for Felv which was negative
Tested for FIV, which was negative,
Treated with revolution then repeated 2 weeks later,
Rabies vaccination if over 4 months.

Angelica is too young to be fixed. There is a $100 fully refundable spay/neuter deposit to ensure it is done. Your check is held and will be voided once the surgery is done. You will receive a coupon to have the surgery done through one of our participating vets which we will be billed for when she is old enough. Spaying is a mandatory part of adoption. Once we receive confirmation that the spay is done, your check, which we are holding, will be voided.

You will also receive a free health exam visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Wheaton Animal Hospital, Countryside Animal Clinic of Carol Stream, Springbrook Animal Care Center in Naperville, or Naperville Animal Hospital.
