Binx's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Binx's Story...
He was recently rescued from a hoarder and the conditions the dogs were kept in were terrible, a filthy dark shelter, many times lacking food and water. Despite this horrible beginning he is extremely sweet if a bit shy initially, I was able to pet and get tail wags the first day. A calmer home with no small children would be best, and a vet reference is required. If you think he would be a wonderful addition to your home please go to our web site and fill out the adopters application. The foster parent will be out of town Memorial week so emails may not be answered until the following week, however we will process them in the order they arrive. His adoption fee is $150 and includes, vaccines, rabies, heart worm test, de worming, and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Binx, a Sylva Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sylva, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sylva.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sylva already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sylva breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sylva paves the way for another one to be saved.
