My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We do not adopt dogs from phone calls or emails. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR web site. Thanks for that.

To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.

There is an adoption fee of $250 for this dog.

This is Little Girl, a very tiny mini born 11-2-2010. She is amazingly sweet and cuddly and in rescue through no fault of her own. Age and health of her previous owner meant she had to come to us. This girl is not an abuse case and has zero mental issues.

Little Girl has some blindness issues. She can see shapes, light and dark and follows voices and other dog rumps amazingly well. She is zooming in the yard and playing like she has zero sight issues and only been here a couple of days. This is an amazingly little dog and very capable but we recommend a one level house for her because once she memorizes the layout then she is off and running.

She came from a home with a lot of dogs and with her sight limitations she needs a dog friend to be her eyes. The volunteers who come can't believe she has any site issues as well as she gets around here.

In one eye she has something called Cherry Eye and that is purely cosmetic and easily fixed by most vets the next time she is under anesthesia. It does not affect her in any way and that is not the reason why her eyes are not perfect.

Little Girl is amazingly smart and easily trained so we need to find a home who can keep ahead of her. If your fence is not perfect she will find that hole and escape to go exploring.

I am enjoying this girl with her abilities and fun loving happy personality. Just a neat dog that photos here can't convey.
