My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miagi is a 6 month old, 25 pound puppy. His mom was a small lab mix and his dad was a Yorkie. Fully grown Miagi should weigh less than 40 pounds. He does great with other dogs and cats.
Miagi spent the first 5 months of his life living in an outdoor pen with his brother Duncan before being owner surrendered. Right before he was surrendered, his owners brought home another puppy that had parvo. Since Miagi had never been to the vet and never been vaccinated he got parvo and was a sick little pup for a week.
Miagi had very little contact with humans as a puppy and was very scared in his foster home the first few days. He came out of his shell quickly, and has learned sit, shake, and come in a very short time. Miagi would do best in a forever home with another dog. He has figured out that people are great at petting and cuddling. Now that he has people he likes to keep track of them and will happily follow from room to room.
Miagi is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and micro chipped. He still needs two more booster shots a month apart which an adopter will be responsible for. He will be neutered prior to completing an adoption. We want to give him a little time to recover from parvo before doing the surgery.
