Meet Poppy! She is an active girl on the lookout for her loving forever home. Poppy is a bit wary of new people but if you are patient and let her dictate the pace of your meeting, she blossoms into a wonderfully sweet girl. She is very social and always wants to be by your side. In fact, Poppy gets a little nervous if left alone and will do best going to a home where someone is typically home. She'll need lots of exercise each day, particularly before any stretches of being left alone. Poppy would love to go jogging or hiking with her new person. She likes to chase tennis balls, but hasn't quite figured out how to bring them back. Poppy will need to be signed up for positive, reward-based training classes before going to her new home. She is comfortable in the presence of other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine friend in her new home. Poppy does really like to chase small animals and will do best in a home without any cats or other small critters.
