Bella's Story...
Name: Bella
Breed: Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Bella is an adult female possible Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (or possibly just Retriever) mix who came to us from a shelter and is seeking a new home. Sweet Bella is reliably house trained, not been a chewer, and kennels quietly when asked. She is very well behaved in the house. Bella likes car rides, long walks, and being reassured with pets. We suspect some vision impairment mildly, one eye looks to have an old injury, and she startles if approached suddenly... once you speak to her she is all wags and sweetness. Bella is probably 7-8 years old and 45 pounds. She likes kids but their quick movements can startle her, so while she shows no aggression we think an adult home is ideal, and one with yard space for her. Bella is slightly timid at first but quick to warm up with someone who is quiet and patient and gives her a few minutes. She is a very well mannered and loving dog.

Requirements: Quieter adult home with yard space

You can email beggarswish@yahoo.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

This dog is located in Minneapolis, MN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Minneapolis Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
