My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laney is a young, active, happy-go lucky girl. She wants nothing more than to cuddle and play, both with her foster mom and the three other dogs in the house. So far, she has gotten along with all of the dogs she has met, has been non-reactive with cats, and has even met a miniature pig that she was very curious about, but also very sweet to. She’s also wonderful when she meets new people, especially kids, but you have to be a little careful or she will lick your face off!

Laney walks well on a leash and is working really hard on learning her house manners. She will, on occasion, put her paws on the counter just so she can see what you’re doing…but a quick no will get her down. She is very receptive to correction because she very much wants to please her people. That being said, because she is so young, Lainey should be crated whenever she is left alone until she is a little more mature. Speaking of the crate…she goes right in when it’s time for bed or when it’s time for her foster mom to go to work. She is currently perfecting her sit, down, and place commands.

Laney is a sweet, loving girl who will be a faithful, life-long companion for a family that will give her the same love in return. She will do well in your current pack, or as an only dog…as long as she has someone who will play with her and throw the ball for her!

Laney is 50 pounds, estimated to be a Lab/Hound mix, and has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Her estimated DOB is 5/18/16.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
