MADDIE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Maddie is a very kind and gentle 9 year-old Mastiff mix spayed female whose family did not want to keep her so she came to Canine Lifeline to find a new home where she could relax and enjoy her golden years. She is now enjoying life in her foster home where has a big cushy bed to curl up on and daily walks around the neighborhood. Maddie appears to be housetrained and has had no accidents in her foster home. She is very good on a leash and is happy to walk very closely to you - just in case you would like to pet her or stroke her back. She has met two young boys (ages 6 years and 8 years) in the neighborhood who showered her with hugs and kisses. She seemed to love being with them. Maddie previously lived with a Puggle and has also met numerous dogs of various sizes during walks without being reactive or showing any signs of aggression whatsoever. She loves being petted and is happy to receive any affection that comes her way. Maddie weighs about 110 pounds but is very thin and should gain 10-20 more to be at her ideal weight. Her adoption fee is $125. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. Maddie had a recent senior blood panel at the vet and everything looked fine. She has numerous lumps and bumps but nothing that the vet was concerned about. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Maddie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
