Facts about Hercules

  • Breed: American Bulldog
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: D2017048
Hercules was dumped at a warehouse on a weekend where he had little hope of being fed or finding refuge from the elements. Thankfully someone did find him before he was harmed or starved to death. This boy is a diamond in the rough, he is sweet, gentle, calm, walks well on a leash and seems to be a perfect gentleman. Why he was dumped out like trash is totally a mystery. We re guessing on his breed. He is stocky and about 55 lbs of sugar and spice and everything nice! I know that rhyme is for girls... but he is a sweetie! Hercules does well with children and is about two years old.

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
