I am a small girl with the cutest stub tail. I thought I was a guard dog and liked to be very protective of my fence until I jumped out one day. I toured the neighborhood and one of the neighbors called Allan and Karen to come get me. I had a personality change that day. I am now more gentle and loving and friendly than ever before. I think I was scared and when I got out, I realized how lucky I was. Now I am happy and just want to get along and find a family. I don't even look at the fence any more with jumping in mind. I will be waiting for can see my cute stub tail wagging from the front gate!
Love, Izzy girl

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
