Meet this dog at the Kirkwood Petco on Saturday, June 10 from 11:00 to 3:00. Petco is located at 1125 S. Kirkwood Rd., just north of Hwy 44 and Lindbergh.
Jake is a very LARGE ...100 lb. , 2 to 3 year old GSD. And Yes, he is drop dead gorgeous! His last owners left him tied to a tree since puppy hood. Jake didn't have manners when he arrived but has been the ROCK STAR of training.
Jake is a low energy dog and is very happy, laid back, silly and playful. The home we are looking for has German Shepherd experience and training experience. This breed just needs a leader or they will walk all over you. Jake knows commands ( sit, off, stay, wait, quiet, leave it, down, shake) and walks well on a leash. He LOVES belly rubs, water, MUD, walks/ runs, jogging next to ATV, bike ride jogs, car rides, and being with his people. Did I mention that he loves water and mud ?? He is also 100% house trained, crate trained (really does not need it ) and lives with lots of other dogs( large and small), running free, under supervision. We feel Jake needs an adult only home ( or older CALM kids) and would love it his new people were home often. He would LOVE another playful large dog in the home,a fenced yard and leadership and he will be the perfect addition.
